Training & Careers
Connelly & Co. is a professional office registered for training purposes with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. This means that we are able to offer a full range of training facilities for prospective members of the Institute and those seeking Continued Professional Education in order to satisfy the requirements for entry into practice and those continuing to practice.
Student training is available using the following routes:
To school leavers we offer the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) modern apprenticeship courses with day release to attend local training collages. Appropriate students on completion of the three-year course can then progress to a full chartered training contract.
To appropriate students and graduates we offer three and four year training contracts to become members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, with block release training at a respected specialist private training provider.
To those not wishing to enter into formal training contracts with the firm we are also able to offer training in order to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Finally for those successful at the professional examinations we offer continued training both to achieve and maintain practicing and professional skills via a variety of means. Outsourced courses on specialist subjects and, in small groups courses both in-house and on-line to aid discussion.
The office is continually looking to develop the knowledge and with up to date IT equipment we are able to offer a career path for suitable minded individuals.
Here at Connelly & Co. we operate an open door policy, with all partners and staff being totally accessible and all looking for constructive input into how the working of the practice can be improved at all times.
